I hope you have had a wonderful summer reading season.

Many professions recommend or require that their members earn  a certain number of continuing education credits each year (e.g. teachers, nurses, social workers, etc.).  Is there a recommended number of professional development credits for librarians in New Jersey?  If not, would you happen to know, the average number of continuing education credits that a librarian usually takes each year?
