Dear Colleauges,

ReferenceUSA is currently down.  I have been in touch with our representatives from Infogroup and they are working on the problem as quickly as possible.  When they have corrected the issue and ReferenceUSA is accessable again I will let you know.

Concurrently there is also an issue with ReferenceUSA geolocation authentication.  They are also working on this issue, which is intermittant across the state.  Patron experiencing log in issues can try the following steps to correct their login issue:

1. Share your location with the browser by choosing “Allow” access.
2. Clear cookies on the browser. If you previously shared your location and had access, you will need to clear the cookies again so it doesn’t use the old cookie.
3. Go Incognito on the browser. Chrome and Mozilla Firefox are your best options.
4. Try a different browser. Chrome and Mozilla Firefox are your best options.
5. Delete the temp files on the computer from the C drive. C:\Users\****\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\User Data\Default – User depends on your personal computer, and browser folder name will depend on which browser you were using.
6. Make sure you are not logged into VPN. VPN might make your location be out of city/state/country that you actually reside.
7. Please make sure you are using the latest version of the browser (Chrome, Firefox, or Internet Explorer.) If your browser is not the latest version, it will likely have issues.

ReferenceUSA support has requested that patrons having login issues which are not resolved by the steps above contact ReferenceUSA customer service at 800-808-1113.  There they can work with the patron directly to fix there problem.  Please let me know if you have any questions.
