Hi, Everyone,

 

 

As you may have heard, the NJ State Library is offering READsquarded online reading program software to NJ public libraries as part of a 2-year contract.

It offers customization and configuration of CSLP-themed summer reading programs and other reading and learning programs, as well as readers’ advisory tools for all ages and all reading levels.

Here is the sign-up portal where you can register your library for READsquared: http://www.readsquared.com/NJ

Once READsquared receives your sign-up request, your library’s customized READsquared site will be configured within 48-72 hours. When your site is ready, you will receive an email with administrative access information from READsquared.

 

The registration page also includes a link (https://join.me/READsquaredTraining) where other staff can attend a training on how to customize READsquared for your library. Feel free to share it with other library staff. The only NJ training dates they can choose are:

·      May 5th – 10 am EST

·      May 6^th – 1 pm EST

·      May 8^th – 1 pm EST

·      May 11^th – 10 am EST

They can sign up more than once, although the same information will be covered in each training.

In the trainings READsquared staff will cover how to setup and customize reading programs so they recommend any staff who are setting up their library’s reading programs to attend one of the trainings.

 

READsquared will be recording one of the sessions and I will share the link when I receive it with you for anyone who wasn’t able to attend any of the scheduled times. Library staff can also find a shorter prerecorded training in their admin control room under Help > Help Materials.
