The following message pertains to grant funding available from FEMA to libraries for the purchase of PPE, such as masks, gloves, cleaning, disinfecting facilities, and potentially acrylic shields. See the grant application is attached, and attend one of the orientation sessions listed below. These Emergency Protective Measures grants will be offered as long as we are still in a public health emergency, therefore, FEMA does not know how long the funding will be available.

Subject: FEMA Public Assistance Grant Orientation Sessions Available for COVID-19
 
FEMA Public Assistance is a Federal grant that provides reimbursement for disaster related expenses. FEMA Public Assistance is limited to 75% reimbursement. The eligible applicant is responsible for 25% of the total cost. The New Jersey Office of Emergency Management (NJOEM) Public Assistance Unit, within the New Jersey State Police, serves as the Grantee for this Federal Funding.

Eligible grant applicants include state agencies, local governments, and certain non-profit organizations.
