FYI,
My colleague, Adrienne Butler, Youth Services Consultant, Oklahoma Department of Libraries created a list of anti-racism reading and resources that I’m sharing with you.
The list is divided by age group (children, middle school, teen, and librarian/teacher/adult). They are meant to assist in building your library collections. You will find several resources listed multiple times under different age groups.
The resource is on the CYA Wiki: Youth Traumatic Events page: https://wiki.cya.oklibshare.org/images/7/7c/Anti-Racism_Reading_Lists_and_Resources.pdf
[If the link doesn't work, remove the "noclick" from the URL]
My colleague Jonathan Clark, State Library Consultant, Children and Teen Services, Vermont Department of Libraries also shared a crowdsourced book and resource list that I’ve attached.
