The New Jersey State Library is pleased to announce that we have contracted with Capira Technologies to license their Capira Curbside product for all public libraries in New Jersey for one year. The State Library’s hope is that this will make curbside pickup easier for both library staff and patrons, especially if the COVID 19 situation continues to limit full library services.
Some of the services offered by Capira Curbside include:
For those of you who are members of library consortia (MAIN, LMxAC, BCCLS, Pals Plus and LOGIN), I have contacted the directors of those organizations to alert them to the fact that Capira discovery questionnaires will need to be completed in order to set up your library to use this service. I will certainly post to this list as I receive their replies. Or, you may certainly contact them yourselves.
In the meantime, if you want to fill out the form yourself, here is the link:

Your staff contact at the State Library will be Sahar Dampier, sdampier@PROTECTED, Program Assistant in the Library Support Services Section. She will be verifying information on the form, contacting you if necessary, and then certifying the forms and forwarding them to Capira.
