The New Jersey State Library’s Axis360 eBook platform, accessible to all public libraries in the state of New Jersey, thanks to CARES Act funding, is now live and ready for patron access! Current Axis360 libraries can integrate the new content seamlessly into their current mix, and will be contacted by their local Baker & Taylor representative for more information. The New Jersey State Library selected Baker & Taylor/Axis360 to partner in creating a new digital resource collection available to library users statewide, made possible by CARES Act funding to the State. The collection launched in October 2020 and serves all libraries in New Jersey as an important expansion of materials available for remote access. This new eBook resource will also seamlessly integrate with the all-in-one, digital library application, SimplyE.

The collection supports:

• Recreational and popular reading
• STEAM
• Diversity and inclusion
• All age levels – children, teen, and adult

Baker & Taylor’s collection development options and flexibility will help to serve the content needs of the diverse citizenry in the most densely populated state in the U.S. Baker & Taylor/Axis360 is well-positioned to support the New Jersey State Library, as a development partner to New York Public Library’s SimplyE platform - a free, open-sourced reading app designed for libraries.
