In July 2020, the American Library Association (ALA) announced the 13 public libraries selected to receive a total of $1.3 million to bolster their library entrepreneurship centers. Libraries Build Business (LBB) is a national initiative supported by Google.org to build capacity in libraries offering programming or services to local entrepreneurs and the small business community. The core objective of Libraries Build Business is to identify library-led entrepreneurship models that will best help low-income and/or under-represented entrepreneurs to start and grow small businesses.
Join this RUSA BRASS for this free webinar. Megan Janicki, Project Manager at ALA, will provide an overview of the program, and we will hear from well from project participants at Gwinnett County Public Library (GA), Laramie County Library System (WY) and Richland Public Library of (SC)
