Dear Colleagues,

Are you interested in library data? If so, do we have an opportunity for you!  The American Institutes for Research (AIR), IMLS’s data collection contractor for the national Public Libraries Survey (PLS), is looking for library directors or their designees who typically complete the state annual report to help test potential new questions for future cycles of the PLS.  They would need about an hour of your time to interview you by videoconference or phone to ensure that the new questions are as clear as possible.  You will receive the questions in advance, as you do for the state annual report, and you are welcome to solicit feedback from colleagues as necessary before the interview.  They plan to conduct the interviews between July 12 and July 30 or in early Sept ember (you would only participate in one interview).  If you are interested in this opportunity to help shape prospective PLS questions, please contact the PLS team at AIR by email, PLS@PROTECTED.
