It’s only available for public libraries since the funds used to pay for it are out of ARPA funds. School staff are encouraged to let their students know that they can use it through their local libraries.

Is Brainfuse available for school libraries, or is it only available through public libraries? If school libraries can offer it, can you let us know how to give our students access?

Brainfuse Contract Extended for an Additional Year
Brainfuse, the online, real-time homework help service, will continue to be licensed for all public libraries in New Jersey by the NJ State Library using American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funds. This will extend the service date to June 30, 2022.
Brainfuse provides online homework help, writing lab assistance, test preparation, video lessons and study tools. In addition, they are preparing public relations tools that will be posted on the ARPA page of the State Library’s web site and may be used by public libraries to promote this service.
