I’m sharing information about a free programming opportunity shared with me by a Microsoft associate who offers coding workshops for youth in NJ public libraries.
This virtual workshop introduces students to game design and block-based coding as part of a partnership between Warner Bros., Xbox, and Microsoft Store around the film Space Jam: A New Legacy starring LeBron James and Bugs Bunny, releasing summer 2021. During the workshop, hosted online, students will design their own video game inspired by the film and code a Space Jam-themed game with MakeCode Arcade.
