Position Available Part-Time Library Assistant or Associate – Youth Services and Circulation Library of the Chathams

Perform circulation and other duties under the direct supervision of the Circulation Head.  Perform Youth Services duties under the direct supervision of the Youth Services Head.  Act as a floater between departments, covering either department as scheduled.

Assist with youth services circulation and other tasks as needed.  Assist children, teens and parents with readers’ advisory needs.  Program docent as needed.

Experience with children required.  Customer service experience and computer skills required.  Early childhood education experience and library experience preferred. Hours are negotiable but may be scheduled on:

• Wednesdays (or another weekday)
• Saturdays
• Sundays
