The New Jersey State Library will be issuing Requests for Proposals for both an Interlibrary Loan system and statewide databases in early 2022. As has been done in previous years, we are interested in recruiting volunteers from the library community to assist us in our decision-making. If you would like to volunteer, please email Kathleen Moeller-Peiffer at kmoellerpeiffer@PROTECTED and indicate which group you would like to join. At this time I would expect virtual meetings but that could change, especially for the final meetings of the two groups. I cannot predict a time commitment, other than to indicate that there are substantially more database vendors than there are interlibrary loan ones. Finally, I would expect volunteers to have extensive experience with either the current Je rsey CAT product from Auto-Graphics or a variety of our statewide databases (currently Ebsco’s numerous resources, Heritage Quest, Reference Solutions [formerly RefUSA] and Rosetta Stone).
