Back-to-School with EBSCO

Thursday, August 10, 2023 at 2:00 PM

It’s back-to-school, so let's review the ways in which your EBSCO resources support your school community. We will review key functionality available in EBSCOhost and Explora, EBSCO’s engaging interfaces designed to support student research and classroom instruction with rich, reliable content and easy-to-use functionality. We will use these interfaces to discover articles and primary source documents available in popular EBSCO databases including Primary Search, Middle Search Plus, MasterFILE Elite, Academic Search Premier, Newspaper Source Plus, and ERIC. We will cover basic and advanced search strategies, and review custom tools and functionality like Lexile limiters, the citation tool, text-to-speech, curriculum standards, and COPPA-compliant personal folders to organize student research.
