FYI,
I’m passing along this information from a YALSA announcement on ALA Connect:
Booklist is looking for reviewers for their YA section, specifically for YA romance and general fiction titles, and especially for YA nonfiction. Reviewers for Booklist typically are assigned between 2 to 3 books per month, and their rate is $15/per review. Reviewers must be able to review from digital materials, and all Booklist reviews are signed.
If you're interested in becoming a YA fiction or nonfiction reviewer for Booklist, you can find more detailed information about Booklist reviews and what they're looking for on our Write for Us page. Please note that the general application is currently closed; this is a special, specific call for YA reviewers, so in lieu of filling out the general application at the link, please submit two sample reviews written in Booklist style to Booklist Books for Youth editorial assistant Kelly Ferreira (...@ala.org" style="color: #2199e8; font-family: Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif; font-weight: normal; line-height: 1.3; margin: 0; padding: 0; text-align: left; text-decoration: none;" title="mailto:KFer...@ala.org">KFer...@ala.org) by Dec. 18th.
