FYI,
The Centre for Sport and Human Rights launched its Generation 2026: Youth Media Forward Initiative in December 2023. They work to elevate youth voice and advance child safeguarding efforts around sport.
Since one of the locations where the FIFA World Cup 2026 will be hosted is the NYC/New Jersey area, the Centre is providing five to seven teenagers, ages 15-17, who are interested in journalism, the opportunity to apply for its year-long training and mentorship initiative.
