Message forwarded from Patricia Tumulty, NJLA Executive Director - Great News! The State Budget bill S3000 was introduced late yesterday. It restores $4.299 million to the NJ Library Network and also keeps the original $3.6 million for the per capita state aid program. Director: Over the next few days, you may be receiving, through the delivery service or regular mail, a packet containing bookmarks, two small posters and a letter detailing the NJ State Library\x92s partnership with the Meadowlands to reward your Summer Reading Program participants with chances to win show tickets. NJ-PUB-LIBS Message: Book Donations to USS Peleliu

The State Library has received a request for donated books from a marine deployed on the naval aircraft carrier USS Peleliu with the Seventh Fleet in the Pacific. The marines and sailors are participating in a professional reading program to increase their knowledge of U.S. military history. He is looking for the specific titles listed below.
