I have had a few discussions that we should consider lowering the requirements for paid titles in print, microform or CD as there may no longer be a need for this large of a browsing collection with so many periodicals available online for reference. Compact Disc Antitrust Settlement Grant Program

The New Jersey State Library has been chosen to administer a grant to New Jersey public libraries using funds from the 2003 Compact Disc Minimum Advertised Price Antitrust Settlement Grant Program. The terms of the anti-trust settlement require that each library purchase digital music, including downloadable content. If all NJ public libraries eligible for this program elect to participate the grant amount per library will be approximately $470. Hi, all. NJAC 15:22, Library Network Services, will sunset June 15, 2010 unless re-adopted. Since the regulations were substantially re-worked in 2005, NJSL proposes that these rules be re-adopted with minor changes.
