In case any of you are attending the 2015 ALA Midwinter Conference in Chicago, ASCLA is presenting a preconference institute on
Friday, January 30, 2015, 12:00 pm – 4:00 pm called
Using Comics to Promote Literacy (more information here:
http://alamw15.ala.org/ticketed-events#ASCLA), and it’s only $169 for ASCLA members (a good reason to join)! This is a very “hot topic” right now and ASCLA expects a lot of interest.
