FYI,

 

As many of you may remember, your library received Chipotle coupons for children’s and teen meals last summer to give away as prizes. The State Library

received them directly from Chipotle and we sent them out to all public libraries.

This year, they have decided to change the procedure for getting the coupons by requiring that libraries wishing to get coupons go to Chipotle’s website and request the coupons

directly from Chipotle. This will make the process more efficient and less coupons will be wasted. The coupons will expire Sept. 30, 2017.

Chipotle will start sending out the coupons at the end of March.

  • Librarians and Educators can now apply online for Reading Rewards to support literacy within their groups by visiting: www.chipotle.com/reading
  • Reading Rewards = Free Chipotle, attached to a bookmark (pictured on attached document)
    • Preschool – 5th Grade: Free Kid’s Meal card attached to a bookmark
    • 6th Grade – Adults: Buy One Get One Free entrée card attached to a bookmark
  • Reading Rewards are available to support your current literacy programs or can be paired with one of our free Reading Logs to start a new program
  • Posters (pictured on attached document) are now available to put up in library branches that show we are official partners, and encourage patrons to participate in your program to earn free Chipotle!
