Hi, Everyone,

 

The State Library received funding to offer an early literacy workshop by Betsy Diamant-Cohen, founder of Mother Goose on the Loose. She and I worked together years ago and she’s been wanting to do a public library program back in NJ for a long time. The workshop would be on play in the context of Every Child Ready to Read and share how playful activities ignite imagination and build skills with STEM/STEAM activities included. Lunch would have to be brown bag, since lunch isn’t included in the budget.  

 

Because hosting it at the State Library isn’t ideal, I’m looking for a public library to offer to host the workshop for us. Since we’re only having one statewide workshop, it would be best

if it was a library in Central Jersey so that as many people can get there as possible.

 

There are a few dates available:

·         most of January 2018

·         February 19-28

·         March 13-16

·         March 27-29

·         April 2-6

·         May 1-18

·         May 22-25
