Hi, Everyone,
I’m sharing a database of sites in NJ that offer free summer meals in
qualifying communities that The John S. Watson Institute for Public Policy of
Thomas Edison State University (with which the NJ State Library is affiliated) created for the New Jersey Urban Mayors Association member cities. It’s similar to the information I’ve shared in the past
about summer food sites.
This data was collected via
https://www.fns.usda.gov/summerfoodrocks, an online resource that allows anyone to search for USDA funded free summer meal sites throughout the United States. While we
recognize that the website may not list all of the sites within each city, we hope that the attached can be utilized to further promote summer sites in your area.
You can use the information as a promotional flyer to post in your library if you’re in one of the qualifying communities, parks, pools, camps, or anywhere children frequent during the summer.
To print out your city simply select the page number(s) that the respective information is listed on prior to printing. For more information on this, please contact Ishiya Hayes at the John S. Watson Institute for Public Policy’s Center for Health Policy
