Hoboken and Philadelphia Our sites at J&J, DTCC and PwC are new for 2019. More computer science opportunities for our NJ girls. I would very much appreciate if you would please spread the word!
Also, NJ Girls Who Code Clubs count is 280 and growing! We are partnering with New Jersey Makers Day to showcase the work of our NJ Clubs in our local communities in March.

GIRLS WHO CODE FREE SUMMER IMMERSION PROGRAM IN NEW JERSEY - APPLICATION OPENS JANUARY 22ND
Girls Who Code, a leading national non-profit with the mission to close the gender gap in technology, opens its Summer Immersion Program application in mid-January.
PLEASE SPREAD THE WORD TO 10THAND 11THGRADE NEW JERSEY GIRLS, GUIDANCE COUNSELORS AND STEM EDUCATORS
WHO: 10thand 11thgrade girls who have not taken AP Computer
Science are eligible to apply, no computer science experience required
WHAT: the Summer Immersion Program is a free 7-week full time non-residential program
during weekdays in the summer, teaching computer science skills and providing girls with access to tech careers. The program offers up to a $1,400 stipend for eligible girls!
WHERE: for 2019 the program will take place at these companies in NJ:
Prudential in Newark
Jet.com/Walmart in Hoboken
Johnson & Johnson in Raritan
JPMorganChase and DTCC in Jersey City
PwC in Philadelphia
DEADLINES: Application opens in mid-January. Early application deadline is February
15th. Second round application/final deadline is March 15th.
