I’m excited to invite you to attend our first Virtual EJK Award Ceremony, to be streamed on Thursday, June 4th from 12 - 1 pm EST. 

 

This year’s attendees (thanks to our Virtual nature) will include former winners, honorees, other prominent authors and illustrators, friends in the publishing industry, library leaders and members of the EJK Award committee from across the globe. 

 

The 2020 EJK Award winners and honorees, all up and coming stars, are:

 

Writer Winner 

  • Sydney Smith, for Small in the City (Illustrated by Sydney Smith / Published by Neal Porter Books, an imprint of Holiday House Publishing, Inc.)

Illustrator Winner

Writer Honor
