FYI,

Sharing this query asking if folks would be willing to complete a survey on creating online learning materials during the pandemic ~Sharon

Dear Colleagues,

Are you creating online learning materials for children and families? If you have planned, designed, facilitated and/or managed online or remote learning resources, we would love to hear from you. Your feedback and perspectives will be informative for finding out more about these resources, how to design them in ways that are responsive to your goals and the needs of your learners, and how these resources further the work of your library.

To share your experience, you are invited to participate in a survey by the University of Wisconsin about the online learning resources that have been offered by interactive science and children's museums and libraries during the pandemic. This work is supported by the Institute of Museum and Library Services through the CARES Act. The survey is brief (approximately 10 minutes), and we would be grateful to have your thoughts.

We will share what we learn as Practitioner Briefs (bite-sized reports) on our website. If you have any questions or more general feedback, please feel free to reply to this discussion topic. We're trying to get a good cross-section of respondents from across the United States and among small to large institutions, so feel free to share this with colleagues within the field.

Thanks so much. We ask that you complete the survey by April 15th.

Sincerely,

The Project Team: Amy Mueller, Megan Newcomb, Dr. Peter Wardrip, and Dr. Rebekah Willett
