Hi, Everyone,
CSLP Supplemental Manual Now Available – Useful for Grab-N-Go or Self-Directed Programming
Once again this year, a volunteer committee created a supplemental manual for 2021. Here’s the link to the full PDF (individual pages/components can be found in the online manual). https://www.dropbox.com/s/vyss52wrbstgfaj/2021%20Supplemental%20Manual.pdf?dl=0
Most of the activities are for children, but there are some for teens, adults and families as well. Perfect for grab-and-go programs, or a quick, passive ones. A button on the CSLP website's homepage (https://cslpreads.org) also provides a direct link to the file.
AND
The CSLP Teen Video Challenge
This CSLP sponsored annual national video contest is open to all teens (librarian and teacher support is encouraged so reach out to your local schools!). The challenge is for teens to create a public service announcement-type video that shows their unique interpretation of the 2021 CSLP slogan “Tails and Tales.” Videos are to be no longer than 60 seconds and should promote libraries and reading. https://www.cslpreads.org/programs/teen-program/2021-teen-video-challenge/
Videos will be accepted June 1 through August 6, 2021.

I hope some of the NJ teens participate!
