Our collaboration with the Black Caucus of the American Library Association (BCALA) continues! The team has been working on supplemental comics reading lists focused on genres or topics that you can use in addition to the main Black Lives Matter. Black Literature Matters Comics Reading List for collection development, readers advisory, or to add to your own To Be Read pile of comics.
The latest list is called Good Trouble and it includes titles like: The Harlem Hellfighters, The Black Panther Party: A Graphic Novel History, and It’s Life as I See It: Black Cartoonists In Chicago, 1940-1980. Check out the Good Trouble List, plus the other supplemental reading lists online and read more about our ongoing collaboration with BCALA.
