NJ Librarians & Media Specialists... In case your libraries or schools have booked Rizzo's Reptile World for upcoming performances....a Star Ledger newspaper investigation raises troubling questions..

The Star Ledger reports https://www.nj.com/news/2021/10/snake-bit.html that Rizzo's Reptile World was accused of sexual harassment and animal neglect by 4 former employees, all women in their teens & early 20s. 20 months later,  the Roxbury Police Department & the Morris County Prosecutor's Office have yet to file charges. The women also say they were sent out to do shows handling big snakes in front of small children with little to no training.  Meanwhile, Rizzo’s Wildlife World remains open in Flanders & continues to perform shows in NJ schools, camps, and libraries.
