Dear Colleagues, Recommendation for time frame for Return of Excess Funds to municipality for 2012: All municipal and joint libraries must determine whether or not the library has excess funding to return to their municipality on an annual basis. Best practice is to begin work on identifying those funds early in the calendar year so that you can make a report to the municipality at the time the municipal budget is introduced at council.
