Starting Jan.1st, 2010 IMLS is requiring \x93children\x92s\x94 age be defined as \x9311 and under\x94. The age group between 12 and 18 will be defined as \x93Young Adults\x94. There is a finite, smaller and still decreasing pool of money for FY2010 and that unfortunately means losses of valuable resources. Therefore, State Library funded access to Heritage Quest will cease effective December 31, 2009. The State Library and Regional Cooperatives will explore outside funding for this important database in the future.
