Hello all, This morning we had a presenter do a lead awareness program during our regularly scheduled story time. Her name is Sarah Malone-Ditzel and she is from the Southern NJ Perinatal Cooperative. She showed the children a 12 minute Sesame Street video about lead safety and then reinforced what they learned in the video with a rhyming activity. Pennies for Peace Campaign Throughout February and March 2010, the New Jersey State Library plans to honor the legacy of Abraham Lincoln as part of the national Abraham Lincoln Bicentennial Commemoration.
