We are pleased to announce that the New Jersey Commission for the Blind and Visually Impaired (CBVI) is continuing the Library Equal Access Program (LEAP) for 2018 for New Jersey residents 55 and older who have a change in vision. FREE iPad and computer training classes will be provided by Advancing Opportunities and will be held this Spring, March through June. April 2017 Dear TBBC reader, The NJ State Library Talking Book & Braille Center (TBBC) offers an exciting new way for you to get TBBC audiobooks closer to your home. The Pennsville Public Library now has full access to the Braille and Audio Reading Download (BARD) service and can download books and magazines for you to use with the digital audiobook player you received from TBBC. iPad Training for Veterans!

We are very pleased to announce that we received a grant from Disability Rights New Jersey to provide iPad training to our members who are U.S. military veterans. We are partnering with Advancing Opportunities on the grant, a leader in assistive technology training. The training will take place July through August at the New Jersey State Library Talking Book and Braille Center (TBBC) at 2300 Stuyvesant Avenue, Trenton NJ.
