Hello Everyone, We will have an upgrade to JerseyCat the week of October 13. Among the options that this new release will offer is bookstraps for interlibrary loan items. Bookstraps are a half sheet of 8 1/2 x11 paper held vertically. They are put around the front cover of ILL materials at the time they are RECEIVED from the lending library. The benefit to the bookstraps is that the system will print all the information about the loan including ILL number, author, title due date, and patron name (of the requestor). The other big benefit is that it will stop ILL materials from getting through your to YOUR LIBRARY'S stacks at the time they are returned to the circulation desk.
I would like to know how many of you would use this option if JerseyCat offered it? Please let me know as soon as you can. Thanks. Scherelene
