Auto-Graphics reports a glitch with patron tracking of ILL's. From Ruth Castillo of AG: Apparently there is a bug whereby, even though the ILL Tracking link is now visible, once a user enters their info, clicking Submit does not yield any response from the system. This bug has been corrected by Auto-Graphics, and is awaiting deployment to production. So it will be corrected after the next system software update. Auto-Graphics has announced that their target date for shutting down the Classic and Iluminar interfaces is Janaury 31, 2015. If you allow guest users to make requests, they don’t have to be registered. They can just enter their requests like they did with the previous versions of JerseyCat. You might want to check the URL you are using to link to JerseyCat. Thank you. I changed everything in Admin, but I still don't understand how the patrons will register. I tried entering myself as a "New patron" using the Admin menu, but I was unsure which User Type I would be (I only see Staff or Admin - no "Patron" profile). Can anyone help me? Becky, It most certainly helps. Thanks so much. The piece we were missing was the ILL permissions for Guests. Since Thursday last week, the Request This button would appear and then disappear when the search was complete so we were baffled and apparently so was Auto-Graphics since they have yet to provide me with the answer. Apparently there has been an ongoing problem in the configuration of the JerseyCat listserv. This problem prevented me from seeing responses that were sent directly to the list instead of to my State Library email address. We apologize for this and assure you that your responses/questions were not purposely ignored. I am going through these old messages now and am replying to all those that are still relevant.
