JerseyCat users, please note: Garfield Public Library's JerseyCat code will be changed by Auto-Graphics from GPL to GARPL. This was necessary as a duplication of codes was found in another system. The JerseyCat staff at the State Library is committed to ensuring that our member libraries are getting most out of the JerseyCat interlibrary loan system. To that end,I will be visiting select NJ libraries this fall to observe how they are using the system, seeing what works (or what doesn't work) on a day-to-day basis. Subject: NJSL Selects Vendor to provide JerseyCat software The New Jersey State Library (NJSL) has signed an agreement with Auto-Graphics to continue to provide the interlibrary loan services that support the JerseyCat interlibrary loan system. This system provides New Jerseyâs libraries with access to a broad range of materials through the JerseyCat portal and participating library websites, supplemented by access to collections nationwide. AutoGraphics has announced an upgrade to the JerseyCat system (version 3.10). This is scheduled to go into effect this Tuesday night (June 19). Details of the corrections, changes and enhancements can be accessed by going to the AGent NEws tab on the Staff Menu page of JerseyCat. It appears that most of the changes are behind the scenes and will not require any adjustments or new actions by the users.
