Hello everyone: There is an issue here, since Jerseycat does not distinguish between Books on CD and Books on tape when it puts together a lending list. Even if you put in the intructions box that you want the book in CD, often, you still will get the book on cassette, since people don't seem to read what's typed in the instuction box. Then I find that if I want a book on CD, I must do a blank request and target it specifically to libraries that have what I'm looking for. Yes, I agree whole heartedly! Our library lends almost everything that is requested. It would be nice to see more libraries do the same!!! On another matter, how many libraries find their requests get stuck at lenders who never respond. Dear JerseyCat users, Please be fair and re-evaluate your ILL policy, if your library does not lend CD's or does not lend DVD's, but does ask other libraries to lend them to your library. This does not seem fair. Often, when I get a request for a CD or DVD, I look up the policy of the requesting library, to see if they reciprocate.
