June 29th 2010

I agree with both Allison & Michelle. The self-registration process is working beautifully here at the Monroe Township Public Library. We've registered over 300 kids since Friday using the software. I'd like to thank Sharon and everyone else responsible for attaining the software to use, it's really making our summer go easier thus far! RE: Evanced Online Summer Reading is awesome

June 29th 2010

I am just going to add my two cents to the discussion.  I am so very pleased with the Evanced software program. It is so simple and easy to use and has revolutionized our lives here at Princeton Public Library. This year we decided to have staff and teen volunteers handle the patron registration. It is working beautifully and if we are lucky enough to continue with the program then next year the teen summer reading program will be self registered. Thank you Sharon and everyone who was involved in obtaining this gr ...Continue Reading

Re: Evanced Online Summer Reading is awesome

June 29th 2010

I could not agree with Michelle more. Yesterday our program opened and by the end of the day, we had nearly 200 children registered for our Make a Splash and Wee Readers program. We registered them easily and efficiently in the library. I can't wait to generate the many reports and statistics! The teen program had online registration and the feedback I am getting from those kids and their parents is that they love it. This includes my own son who commented that it was "cool". This is an huge statement from h ...Continue Reading

Evanced Online Summer Reading is awesome

June 28th 2010

I don't know why I didn't jump on this bandwagon long ago.  Less than a week into the program and I have 73 kids registered and 51 books logged. Online logging is the way to go with teens, for sure.  I am still learning the system but it's definitely doing what it is supposed to do!  Thanks to Sharon and all those who worked to get this to happen. I bet we see a huge jump in numbers and hopefully that will get this program funded in the future. Michelle ReassoTeen LibrarianHighland Park Public Libraryww ...Continue Reading
