book packing

Good afternoon,

It has come to our attention that there has been a rise in incidences where books are being damaged when removing paperwork from returned items.  In an effort to prevent damage to interlibrary loan materials we would like to gently remind libraries to ask their staff not to use tape/paperclips to attach shipping labels or paperwork directly onto the books.

We appreciate you help with this request.
