The software vendor for JerseyCat, Auto-Graphics, will be upgrading their data center and moving their facilities to a new hyper-secure managed hosting facility that provides greater redundancy, improved security and increased bandwidth. Specific dates for the transition have not been set but will be finalized soon. During the transition all JerseyCat services will be halted on a Friday night at approximately 7PM Pacific Time and will not be available until the following Monday. A-G reports that the down time is required so JerseyCat can be backed up and transport to the Las Vegas SUPERNAP facility and then restored and perform system testing prior to allowing general access. If we complete all tasks in less time than planned we will make the systems available for use. Once the transition is completed your URL will remain the same.

The only change that will occur is IP addresses. Well will provide the new IP range prior to the transition so firewalls can be updated as needed.

Transfer Plan: Approximately two weeks before your transition you will receive specific information from the customer service team about the time and date of your transition.

IP Address Change: NJSL staff will contact all of the libraries that are searched via Z39.50 and provide the new IP range.The new IP Addresses may affect your firewall configuration.The URL to access your system will be unchanged. However if your firewall configuration is set up to block access to a specific IP address, you will simply need to update with the new address provided.
